Fuller Brush Company

Alfred C. Fuller, known as the Fuller Brush Man, married Mary Primrose Pelton in 1932. Mary was the daughter of a Yarmouth judge and during their marriage, she opened Alfred’s eyes to several charitable organizations in music and education. Alfred founded the Fuller Brush Company in the US and became the largest door-to-door business in US history. The Fullers would spend summers in Yarmouth at the Pelton-Fuller House, shown in this picture. The house was given to the Yarmouth County Museum and Archives by Mrs. Fuller herself in 1996.
