From pages 4-5 of the 1935 catalog we can see that the Brownie uniform consisted of a sweater, skirt, knitted cap and stockings, belt and tie for $5.30. Or one could purchase overalls and bloomers, straw hat as well as the stockings, belt and tie for $3.35. Similar options were available for the Guide uniform with either option costing less than $7.
