Bras d'Or House, Baddeck

This image shows the Bras d'Or House hotel before it was destroyed by fire in October 1894. The hotel was re-built in 1896 and currently houses restaurants and apartments. Theodore Keisel took this image during his time in Baddeck visiting with Alexander Graham Bell and family. Keisel's son was deaf and worked with Mabel Bell during their visit.
