It claims they have sold over their land to the King for the sum of five pounds. Includes Philip and Mary's "hands and seals." Is worded somewhat like later treaties.

Letter from Crawley, Deputy Surveyor General, Cape Breton, to Rupert George regarding tresspasses on Mi'kmaq lands at Whycocomagh and requests for land from non-Mi'kmaq in that area. Includes note from the Lt. Gov. advising that Crawley is to be told that he approves of the arrangement proposed as far as it confirms the Mi'kmaq in possession of their land.
