Men in the Mines

A History of Mining Activity in Nova Scotia, 1720-1992

Display includes a poster, two children's caps and a block of salt from a Siberia mine, souvenirs of McLachlan's 1931 trip to Russia. The two volumes by Karl Marx belonged to J.B. McLachlan. A ring worn by McLachlan all his life is also on display.
