     Tuesday ye 8th June 1736 Being mett according to Yesterdays Adjournment Mrs Charles Dentremon & Peter Landry being also Present

     The Secretary Acquainted ye Board, that His Honour the Lt Governor of the Province being a little Indisposed he could not Presently be at the Board, & therefore Desired ye Gentlemen to Read & Consider Mr Landry's Declaration And that as there could be no further Information had at Present of ye Truth & Certainty of what hath happened to that Unfortunate Vessell the Baltimore, that they would therefore come to a Conclusion

     Which said Declaration being Accordingly Read the said Peter Landry thereunto Affix'd his Usual Mark & made Oath to ye Same, And Mr Charles Dentremon [447] Dentremon being Ask'd what He had further heard or Seen since his Departure from hence with Mr Vane He said that He had Recd from the Indians a Packett abt 2 or 3 Inches thick Sealed with three Seals and several other Sealed Letters & loose papers which he gave to Mr Vane, And that the Indians had Directed him where to find some of the Vessells Sails, Which was all he had to say further than what he and his Brother in Law had already Related
Concerning the mass House up the River.

     Then His Honour Coming to ye Board (According to a paragraph of A Minute of Council of ye 18th May Last Relating to the Mass House up ye River) to Come to Some Resolution to prevent ye Inhabitants from making any further use of that Mass House up ye River, and therefore desired their opinion whether the Sd House Should be burnt pulled down or otherways.

     Which question being put it was agreed that it was Necessry first to send for ye Deputys of ye Inhabitants and to Acquaint them with the Opinion of ye Board 18th May & to hear what they had to offer for daring Without Leave of ye Governmt to Establish any other Mass-House in this River then this one below built & allow'd of by the Governt
