Declaration Relating to the Brigt Baltimore And the Behaviour of the Pobomcoups
 


     One of which papers was a Register of the Brigantine Dated at Mary Land the 17th Day of September 1734 by which it Appears that Buckler Partridge was at that time Sole Owner And Paul Whichcott Master; But on the Said Register there is an Endorsement Dated at Barbados the 14th of April 1735 by Edward Lescells the Collr Declaring Richard White the Master

     The other was a Porttage Bill Dated, Barbadoes 1735 from Andrew Buckler Containing his orders to Richard White whom he had Appointed Master, & the said Masters promise of Complying therewith under the Penalty of Twenty five pound Sterling, Witnessed by Peter Vallis with an Accot of goods & freight Shipt by Sundrys for Dublin, by which in case of Mr Buckler's Death, he the Master is by the said Portage Bill directed to Apply himself to Mr Thos Corker Mercht there to [433] to whom he is also thereby Directed in case of Mr Bucklers death during the Voyage to deliver all his papers & freight money &c & to be under his Directions with the Vessell for Mr Bucklers best Advantage
 





     Which said papers, as also a Cockett1 from the Port of Dublin of Sundry's but not of any Considerable Value to be Shipt on Board the said Brigantine The said Richard White Mastr for Maryland, being only twelve Barrels of Beef. One Hundred wt Cheese, One Barrell of Oatmeal One firkin ½ hd Wt Butter, 3 Casks Ten Hundred wt Bread Ten Tun Shingle stones & a Box half a Hundred wt of Candles. As also more by Andrew Buckler, Eight Barrells of Beef & four Barrells of Herrings half full half shotten, the Custome of both barrells being paid as per said Cockett Dated the first of September 1735 A lett pass from the Honble James Dottin Esqe President of his Majestys Council & Commander in Chief of Barbadoes &ca. dated at that place the 5th May
