     There was also Read another letter of this Date Desiring the Boards opinion Whether he Might Not [322] not Grant Goat Island in favour of Mr Charles Vane upon the aforesaid terms and Conditions Mentioned in his Majestys lnstructions, he being inclined to Settle and Cultivate the Same, the Board Agreed that the Same might be Granted, and that a Patent be prepared for the Same. As Also the Board Unanimously Agreed that Every part of the Said White-House-ffeild Which is not Claim'd or possessed by any lawfull proprietor May be Granted and Remain for Ever to the Governor and Commander in Cheif and his Successors in the Command of the Province for Ever upon the Said Conditions prescribed by his Majestys Instructions

the Governors answer to the Inhabitants in Relation to the Church & preist approv'd off

     The Secretary Acquainted the Gentlemen of the Committee that as his Honour the Lieut Govr of the Province was so much out of order that he Could not attend the Deputys the Governors who by Appointment were to Call this day for an answer to the Inhabitants Petition in Relation to their Church and Preist that he had therefore sent it by him translated into ffrench Conformable to the Minute of Council of the 13th Instant, Which he Desired they might Examine, and Compare, to See if it was justly translated and then give it to them
