to be present at ye sd Rescue might be Calld in examin'd upon that Head

     Mr. Robishau being ask'd whether or no he was on board ye Schooner when ye Indians rescued ye sd Turnoe as above & whether he knew, who were ye Inciters of that Affair Declar'd that he was on board & saw that matter transacted, but that if he was put to his Oath, he coud not tell who were ye Inciters Directly or indirectly.

     Captn Cate being examin'd declard upon Oath as on file.

     Agreed & resolv'd Nem. Contrad: That ye Insults committed by ye Indians against his Majesty and this Government, proceed from ye French Inhabitants encouraging & inciteing them to it, as appears perticularly in this affair above. mention'd, & that they ought to be made [9] answerable for ye behaviour of ye Indians for ye Future Whereupon voted & resolv'd, that Amand Beaujeau, John Landry & John Le Blanc Sirnam'd des Sappins sd to be ye Cause of this Affront Committed by ye Indians may be summon'd to appear forthwith, by his Excellency's Proclamation before his Excellcy & Council to answer to ye Charge Laid against them: relating to ye Affair aforesd. And in Case of Contempt of sd Order to be treated as ye nature of their Crime shall be Judg'd to deserve. Adjourn'd.
