"Barque Borghild Beached at Norris Cove"

"Abandoned Norwegian Barque Borghild, beached at Norris Cove, the Narrows, Halifax Harbour. Sketched Oct.3/94 by Harry Piers. The Borghild was built, 1876, at Porsgrund, length 162 ft., breadth 35, depth 19.9. Last captain, A.E. Haugneland. Vide Lloyd's Register for 1895-6. Condemned and sold by auction at Hfx and beached a few years ago at Norris's Cove."
